It tis a glorious garage find. I got this vintage RC300 for 0$. Of course, it was a mess when I got it since it had been boxed for the last ten years.

At least I have a pretty box to look at. No manual for it, but I found one online. I don't know if newer pan car wheels will fit it. I certainly hope so,
because once it's running I'm going to use it as it was intended to be...ALOT.

Crusty engine, yes? The prior owner claimed it was a .21, but I think its a 3.5 cc....

The stock RC300 was a real nice car but it was pretty stiff as far as the chassis and the servo tray went, and this is why as yo might be able to tell that my
RC300 has a custom built chassis, and servo tray that maked the car handle like it has suspension on the car. In fact, you are looking at the excact car that
forced Associted to build an RC500 suspension car that didn't work good enough to keep up with the rest of the 1/8th scale racing manufacturers.

Yeah, the engine needs some new bearings but it still has compression. I'm thinking of making it a restomod at this point. New radio gear, new exhaust (no
hope for the old one), and maybe a carbon upper deck if I can make one.
