The best way is to buy a gear puller. AM has em for $15 or so. Even with that, it's best to heat the gear as well with a small torch before you remove it,
if there's any resistance. You can probably jimmy it off some other way, but you risk damaging it or bending the shaft, and that's very difficult to
correct.

the micro t has a plastic pinion.you can just pull it off easily without a gear puller. that is why the kit comes with 3 different pinions so you can change
the ratio easily.
if you want answers about the micro t, you should probably go to a micro t forum(there is a lot of good ones around the internet) instead of an xmod one(or at least use the other scale section)
