Most of the Drifters I've seen are RWD and they drift just fine, its a lil harder in xmods with RWD, but it makes you more hardcore Im the best driver i know... not including me of course

Posts: 2 (08/04/08 16:46:49) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	i use the atomic drifting tires 8.5 mm on the atomic ridgeless rims in white. they drift on carpet, wood flooring, and concrete, smooth and rough. it helps if the batteries are as far forward as the body will let it as some dont let it go all the way up. a motor that pushes at least 29,000 rpm is also recommended. AWD is a MUST for obvious traction reasons. for added precision, use gpm alloy parts like the tie rod and front aluminum knuckles. you'll be a drift king in no time with this set up!

I'm using Yellow right now... Also I'm thinking of getting the Aluminum heat sink, but I'm worried the loss of weight will mess things up, anyone know anything about that? As for Diffs, right now I'm using a locked front and a ball rear, would people recommend a different diff setup? Oh, and what about tie rods? Once I get a spare board to fix my G1 (and a Z body along with it) I'll finally try this stuff for real. Evo isn't nearly as fun even though tape gives it plenty of slip.
