I am also very interested in knowing if it is possible to covert the MR-01 to the MR-02. I talked to a guy at atomicmods and he said that it wasn't
possible but I've heard otherwise on other forums.
What's the final verdict and what parts are required? Thanks Brian |

There is no need for any electronic modifications from a MR-01 to MR-015/MR-02. You will need to solder on new battery terminals, as the MR-01 ones are way to
big for either of the new chassis'.
Really, the only things you can scrap from the MR-01 are the rims, bearings, board, servo gears, and motor setup. Everything else needs to be changed. Needed would be a MR-015/MR-02 skeleton chassis set. I say this because this set comes will the chassis small parts kit that will also be needed for the conversion. Then, you will need the servo pin set, I don't believe it matters from manufacture but atleast buy name brand. From there, you will need the servo saver and tierod. You may need to make your own battery terminal holders, but those are fairly easy using a screw and a lugnut.
Current Project: Nothing. Well.......want to make OL faster

I updated a few of my MR-01 chassis with the rear motor mount and differential from an MR-02. It really helped the cars track better. The only other
difference with the two chassis is the convenient drag-link on the MR-15. I just left the front an MR-01.
